Round Up: Olivia Harms
Olivia Harms was born Western Music royalty, but the rhinestone cowgirl has stepped out on her own to craft music that is equal parts Texas, Bakersfield, and Nashville country. Making her very own Country Western Honky Tonk sound.
Olivia, Daughter of Western Music Hall of Fame member Joni Harms, grew up on the 150-year-old Harms family ranch in Canby, OR.
Olivia's first appearance on stage when she was two days old. Joni had labor induced so she wouldn’t miss her show at the Portland Speedway with Clint Black, Lorrie Morgan, and Ricky Skaggs. Now Olivia is following in her mother's creative bootsteps and chasing the same dream.

Round Up: Dusty Rust
Dusty Rust has been a staple of Round Up at the GP for several years now and we couldn’t be happier to have him back. Hailing from Lewiston, ID, he blends the rugged landscapes of his upbringing with the blue-collar spirit of Kansas City's country music scene. Known for his raw authenticity, Dusty’s sound fuses country and rock with heart and grit. From 2013 to 2018, his performances at The Westport Saloon became a staple of the Kansas City music scene, captivating audiences with his magnetic stage presence.

Leo Moon
Leo Moon is the solo incarnation of actor, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Brian Adrian Koch. California born and Oregon raised, Brian has been active in the Portland theater, film & music scene since arriving in 2000. He is a current and founding member of indie rock band Blitzen Trapper (2000 - present), and formerly of psychedelic folk duo Dead Lee (2017-2023). Appearing now as a solo acoustic performer, his minimal and haunting tunes are stripped down paeans to the glorious absurdities of life; harmonica spattered psalms to the void.

David Henry
David Henry and his band bring elements of country, folk, rock, and soul to every one of their passionate, ambitious perfomances. Three-part harmonies, ascended guitar leads, a driving rhythm section, and fiery songwriting delivers a show that is unmistakably David Henry.

Night Heron
Night Heron, the musical project helmed by former Radiation City frontman Cameron Spies, crafts intimate soundscapes that exist in the space between whispers and dreams. Their debut album "Instructions for Night" emerged from personal transformation and global isolation, featuring distinctive ASMR-like vocals and carefully constructed sonic textures. Following up with their sophomore album "Escapism," Night Heron continues to explore life's quiet moments, weaving between dreamy morning reflections and twilight contemplations. Joined by accomplished musicians from Portland's indie scene (including members of Y La Bamba, Reptaliens, The Apricots, and Weeed), Night Heron creates music that invites listeners to lean in closer, finding universal meaning in life's most intimate moments.

Round UP: James Dean Kindle's Country Combo
James Dean Kindle of Pendleton has been making music for decades and says he likes to blur the boundaries between country, folk, jazz, and Latin genres. He may be best known for his work with the Eastern Oregon Playboys, but last year released his first solo album in six years. “Trailmix” was inspired by his time hiking in the Umatilla River Canyon.

Round Up: William Surly & The Barroom Gospel Band
William Surly is a singer/songwriter who saddles his proverbial horse in Portland, Oregon, and is no stranger to the western cocktail. Within his music he mixes classic country with outlaw, honky tonk, a dash of folk, some rock, soul and a whole lot of tequila. Simply put, his songs are best suited for those with a restless leg and a long running bar tab.

Robert Henry & The Repeaters
Since 2018, Robert Henry and his compadres have been utterly defining the hard country edge of Portland’s country scene. Now with this kick ass new record, they’re ready to do the same for country music nationwide.

Jimmy Smith
Jimmy is best known for his 2 decades performing with famed Austin, TX alt-country outfit, The Gourds, as one of the two principal songwriters and bass player. Alongside Kevin "Shinyribs" Russell, Max Johnston (formerly of Wilco), Claude Bernard and Keith Langford, the band relentlessly toured the country, playing every festival stage imaginable and recording with the likes of Doug Sahm and long-time Bob Dylan sideman, Larry Campbell. Though their days as a band came to an end in 2013, Jimmy has continued playing music as The Hard Pans, the Jimmy Smith System, power duo Smith-McKay All Day, and now solo as Jimmy Smith. He currently resides in Missoula, MT, longtime second home to The Gourds.

Sunbathe w/ Bart Budwig
Sunbathe is a guitar-pop band from Portland, Oregon, formed in 2015 by songwriter Maggie Morris. Known for her ethereal vocals and introspective songwriting, Morris radiates the smarts and edge of Liz Phair at her anthemic best, but with delicate golden guitar and a glut of catchy harmonies that would make James Mercer shed a little tear. The live band has an exceptional lineup including Adria Ivanitsky, Tyler Figley, and Skyler Hamler. Together, the band has an energetic and joyful presence on stage and a signature sound characterized by shimmering guitars, sweeping melodies, and a deep sense of emotional resonance.

The Dead & Dowh
The Dead & Down are an exploratory roots-rock band inspired as much by the vast landscapes and dramatic mountain ranges of their Montana home as they are by the myriad musical influences that weave through their sound. Based around the introspective songwriting and dusty vocals of frontman Taylor Burlage, the band navigates sonic trails between rust-flecked alt country and swampy rock ‘n’ roll, with detours through psychedelia and genre-bending experimentation. They have opened for the likes of Paul Cauthen, Futurebirds, and the Last Revel and have hit the stage at Under the Big Sky Music Festival, Red Ants Pants Music Festival and more. Their recently released sophomore album, No Broken Bones, displays the sound of a band hungry to find out what lies beyond the next ridge and only just beginning their journey.

TERRY ROBB
Terry Robb is hailed as a blues guitar virtuoso and one of the finest acoustic guitarists on the international scene. His signature fingerpicking style has earned him international acclaim from worldwide audiences, esteemed music critics and his distinguished peers. Incorporating elements from Delta blues, ragtime, country, swing and jazz, Robb has built a unique blues sound that has made him a legend in his prolific music career spanning four decades.

Thee Honeybuds
Thee Honeybuds has the roots of an Americana setting, but with the earthy funkiness of an acoustic bass, swirling guitar leads, and honey-soaked 3-part harmony that ties the band together. It’s rootsy, with a taste of blues, 80’s rock, and a dash of 60’s surf guitar. A sound that keeps you comfortable yet interested in what’s coming next.

Matt Mitchell Music Co. w/ Bart Budwig
Matt Mitchell Music Co.'s Obvious Euphoria maps out a heartfelt journey through heartache, grief, and perseverance reaching towards transformation, a journey that parallels Mitchell's own roaming and seeking life. On the album, it's in the moments of kinship and intimacy, which Mitchell shares with his bandmates featuring members of Desolation Horse, The Hackles, Blind Pilot, and Taco Tapes, that an undeniable warmth and powerful chemistry rises to the fore. Layers of harmony and instrumentation compliment Mitchell's introspective and vulnerable storytelling in a spacious and compelling way. Life's highway might always be winding, but Obvious Euphoria is a stop worth taking.

Just Clark & Company
Just Clark is a singer-songwriter reviving the roots of American-made music. Digging into a woody sound that echoes through the hollers, Clark's music embodies a timeless resonance that harks back to the cherished sounds of classic Americana folk. From poet to picker, the native Texan conjures a sound as bright as the Lonestar herself.
Being more than the stand alone folk type, “Just Clark & Company” is an electrifying extension that goes beyond a guitar and a pretty voice. With weeping pedal steel and crashing drums it’s full steam ahead for the full band.
Always on the move, Clark is a true troubadour who’s lust for the open road is never ending.

Mark Tegio w/ Adam Lange
Tegio's songs include tales of wanderers and outcasts, dreamers and revelers, lovers and losers; all of whom he has been at one time or another. Originally from San Diego himself, Tegio found fellow native Tom Waits to be an early influence. Waits' fantastical songs of seedy, sordid characters, accompanied by his raspy, guttural voice, inspired Tegio's writing and singing. When Tegio was introduced to Texas songwriters such as Townes Van Zandt and Blaze Foley, he was quick to adapt some of his favorite aspects of their writing into his own developing style. Townes' dark, poetic imagery, especially of natural beauty, paired with his lonesome yet hopeful songs, combined with the levity Foley frequently used in songs and Waits' depictive storytelling, unite to create the holy union of barroom poetry that is Mark Tegio's sound.

Bob Sumner & Forrest VanTuyl
Bob Sumner believes that music is made to evolve. On latest work, Some Place to Rest Easy, you’ll hear countrypolitan strings alongside ambient sensibilities; tasteful synth tracks followed seamlessly by numbers with dobro and steel guitar. It’s an album that takes as much inspiration from the audio production of Randy Travis as it does the lyrical soul of Big Thief’s Adrienne Lenker—a melding of eras, sounds, concepts, and stylings that’s informed by the past, but never bound by it.
Forrest VanTuyl is a songwriter and poet from Goldendale, Washington. His work is based on years spent packing mules and cowboying in the remote alpine and canyon country of Eastern Washington and Northeast Oregon. He has performed at The National Cowboy Poetry Gathering, written music for the US Forest Service, and been published in the New York Times.

David Henry
David Henry and his band bring elements of country, folk, rock, and soul to every one of their passionate, ambitious perfomances. Three-part harmonies, ascended guitar leads, a driving rhythm section, and fiery songwriting delivers a show that is unmistakably David Henry.

Horsenecks
Harmony singing and thoughtful song writing bring The Horsenecks to the stage with a compelling take on the music that moves them; foot-stomping dance tunes, innovative fiddle-banjo compositions and heartfelt and inspired lyrics and harmony singing. Whether they are singing centuries-old ballads, their own songs, or getting you up and dancing with a barn-burning fiddle tune, they remain firmly rooted in tradition, paying homage to the depth and richness of the music they have immersed themselves in for the last two decades. Whether performing as a duo or as a four piece The Horsenecks continue to set a new standard in today's traditional music scene with years of touring under their belts, appearances at major festivals in the USA and the UK and three critically acclaimed studio albums.

Freeman Dejongh
Freeman DeJongh is a folk and western songwriter who lives in the mountains of Idaho. The sounds and stories he arranges into harmonies and songs are reflections of the natural spaces within and around him. Freeman is a multi-instrumentalist whose curiosities are focused on interweaving the eerie silver sounds of his pedal steel guitar, the electric sparkles of telecasters, the wooden hums of old-time acoustics with the atmospheric drones of organs and synthesizers. Freeman’s voice comes softly from the heart and he sings to share all of his love and sadness with you. The music he creates roams freely between many traditions of American music including folk, jazz, psychedelic, and country and western…
